I just purchased a nokia 6230b from ebay and was told that it was unlocked Cingular. ok I have T mobile and I am also getting Cingular...Could someone please help me in unlocking this phone bc it gives me a restricted error when I put in my Tmobile sim. I am totally a newbie and do not know anything about this process.

Just to clarify, who is the phone locked to?
i.e. what networks sim works in the phone?

Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
