i have downloaded Final.Destination.2.(2003).DVDSCR.XviD-DVL.avi from kazaa i use nimo pk8 with the new fdshow and i have no problems with any other film but after about 15/20mins it starts to lag then freezes, i have tried all diffirent codec but i have not had any joy. please can someone help

You probably got some bum frames during the download process that are causing your player to freeze up. Try using one of the fixing tools i.e. DivX Repair or DivFix to see if they will make your video playable.

Note: Backup the original first in case using the repair utility has unwanted affects.
