I'm using memorex dvd + r 16x, with dvdsanta. I'm converting an anime show onto the dvd (from an AVI format) and on some discs when they are played in my dvd player they sometimes skip. I'm pretty sure it's not my dvd player because I've never had a problem with it and all my movies work on it. So is it the discs that I'm using, or maybe DvdSanta? Anyone else have this problem with written discs skipping?

quite possibly the disc u using, memorex 16x are not exactly "good quality" what speed are you burning to it with dvdsanta? what drive are you using, firmware revision?

could be quite a few factors, but those are the most obvious (probable)

Memorex, AKA CMC Mag disks are usually not good for longterm back up and archival purposes.
