NESTERJ (The game could not be started ERROR)

It gives me an error number "90020001" what am I doing wrong? I'm running a 1.5 PSP with the latest nesterj version and still doesn't work.

I tried with the previous version of nesterk and same thing. :(

What am I doing grong??

Do you have your roms in the right place? This happened to me once while I was at work. NesterJ wouldn't launch for anything. Fortunately, I had a copy of File Assistant and simply renamed the file. Somehow, if the folders have been named NesterJ and NesterJ% for a while, the folder get stale or something. Just rename the two folders to something slightly diff. For example, if the folders are now called

NesterJ and NesterJ%

rename them to:

NESTERJ and NESTERJ%

That might work. Good luck, yooouuuu'll need it. (Quote from SmashTV, Nintendo. I think.)

Hey sup guano, thanks for answering.

Look, the name of the folder that lm using is named

"NesterJ+v1_10_15.zip" and inside this zip is another folder named "NesterJ v1_10_15" and within this folder i've got four files named "EBOOT.PBP" "famicom" "MENU" and the "read me file" and another folder named "1.5" within this 1.5 folder there are two more folders, one is named "NESTER~1%" and the other "NESTERJ________1""

What I did was renamed the last two folders (as u advised)by "NESTERJ and NESTERJ%" and I keep on getting the same error. (90020001)

I really don't think it could be the ROM (as you said) because the emulator won't even start.

When I press "X" to start the emulator it looks like is going to run but then I get this error.

Pleaseeee HEEEELPP!!

Try this version. "FAMICOM" doesn't sound right. I am not sure if you got the right version if you even got NesterJ at all.

That should be the one. It's a small d/l so just start again.

In the NesterJ folder, you wanna make sure you have a folder called "ROMS" (Read-only Memory; this is where your ROMs go, so if that folder isn't in there, create it. I had to. You wanna verify there are other folders in there called "SAVE" and "STATE" I think it's something like that.) I only trust a few sites for d/lds and qj (quickjump) is one of them. You might also wanna join DCEmu b/c they're awesome! 24 hour updates as well as all the hacking files, emulation and homebrew you'll ever need... Get back to me and let me know if this next version works.
