I give up on WIFI MAx a while ago but was playing Socom at my Brothers house last night (router) and realised how good it actually was.

This made me want to have another go at this piece of junk product. I went over everything I had done. ie. settings, etc. Then like magic it worked, despite me having done all of the exact same things 1000 times before.

Anyway, I was on imdb.com, the movie review site (this is just the first thing I Googled to test), when I selected to change the view to smart fit. Nothing happened so I selected the file option. Again nothing happened, it appeared either my PSP had crashed, or was loading at snail pace.

I knocked my PSP into sleep mode than eventually back on, Socom was inside so that booted up. When I pressed home, instead of being asked if I would like to exit the game in English, Japenese characters were in there in their place.

I switched off and back on - same thing. I selected to exit and was taken to an aggreement of some sort. My PSP had rest to factory settings. Has anyone experienced this before?

yeah i get that all the time after i go online, for some reason it'll freeze then just turn off then when i turn it back on same things a blue screen... press o and all is well(except loosing all my settings and having to reactivate everything).... well thats on my 2.71 psp

but have you ever had all the text on your psp just dissipear???
