Night Watch - Russian horror movie, part 1 of trillogy. No chance to watch it yet, but it's gotten a lot of acclaim.

Backed up with DVD Shrink only. No VOB blanker, no AnyDVD. Piece of cake.

its good, it is not a horror movie, LOL to that categorization, you won't be horrified to say the least. Its more suspenseful.

the last five minutes will blow your mind, wraps everything up and ends the confusion the last hour and half set upon you.

i didn't know it was a trilogy, i watched night watch 2: day watch also. Honestly, I thought it was the shit kuz i was watching a russian movie with a budget. but then afterwords i realized it was some bullshit boring ass movie that dragged out too long, they both use the same style of building suspense and confusion and then wrapping it all up at the end very neatly. but its TOOOOOO long in between with the most random special effects and action sequences.

despite my bashing, you should check it out, the concept it awesome.

@ tjedwards - It was pretty good. A little too surreal and artsy at times, but not too bad. A lot of people compare it to Underworld and it's a somewhat appropriate comparison, but the plot was a little more in depth. Not as confusing as I expected and not as big of a twist at the end as I thought. Maybe don't rush out to buy it, but certainly at least rent it. In the US version, the subtitles are actually a part of the movie, as in they interact with the set and characters. No need to turn on additional subtitles as they're in the film itself. Looking forward to Day Watch.

I'm having problems with this movie. DVDShrink freezes at either 56 or 58% every time. I'm using shrink and the latest AnyDVD. I'm pretty sure I have a bad original so I'm gonna take it back for another.
