JVC GR-D90U Digital Video Camera

I'm having some issues with my Video Camera. The problem seems to be that the camera will not power up. This happens whether I have a battery in or if I have it plugged up to the A/C Adapter and I have no clue what the problem is. If anyone has any ideas or advice or if you think I should just send it back and get it fixed (It's several years old and is out of warranty) please let me know. Thanks in advance for your help.
