i'v been wanting mods now for some time but i dont want to go with all that troble of installing and crap so my friend says i should buy a pre moded xbox. But one thing im stumped on is if the mod chip is installed how do i put mods on and how do i know what mods are on it

All you have to have is a modded Xbox, a hard drive large enough to fit Halo 2(or part of it), and the Halo 2 editing software (e.g. DotHalo, Insolence, H2x, etc.) You make your own mods or you can get someone elses mods by applying a PPF-Patch that they made.
