How do you put games on the hdd and does my chip help me out at all?

It will do it all for you.
1.Is the HDD installed and formatted?
2.Are you running the latest firmware, ToxicOS V0.41?

If so then do this.
1. start the PS2 and hold the square button when you turn it on, this will take you to the toxicOS menu.
2. go to settings and set the boot mode so that instead of being set to normal, it boots to ToxicOS (which is the screen you just came from before entering this settings menu.)
3. go to the bottom and do the save and exit.
4. i am not sure you have to turn on the ATAD auto patching function or not.
5. Now restart the PSTwo, you should now go strait to the ToxicOS menu
6. choose ToxicOS from this menu
7. Once in there you will see tabs for games, cheats and so on.
8. While on the game tab go down so you are in the blank space where the game names would show below it.
9. once there press right to enter the menu there that has install, delete, run and the rest.
10. stick in a disc and choose install.
11. repeat steps 9 & 10 for as many as you want to install.
Once installed you should just be able to select the game name and press X to run them.

some games it will pull up the name for you and others you will have to enter manually. It usually takes about 30-45 minutes no matter how long the timer says so do not be scared if you see it say 2hrs when you start.
