Interpretation: Check condition

CDB: 28 00 00 1E B6 A0 00 00 01 00
Interpretation: Read (10)-Sector: 2012832

Does anybody know what this means?

Sense Area: F0 00 03 00 1E B6 A0 10 00 00 00 0A 11 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
Interpretation: Unrecovered Read Error


This error message came up when i was trying to back up Hoodwinked. Any suggestions?

This is a guess on my part but it could be either a bad press (if the disc is in pristine condition, then it is) or just a new copy protection.

If the disc is in good condition, then it is a copy protection because Hoodwinked is a newer title. Decryptor, on the other hand, is older than my younger cousin--so it will have problems with newer titles.

Try DVDFab or VOBB to rip the disc. If you insist on Decryptor, use AnyDVD with it.

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

I totally agree with Mr_Pink on this one. Any of those are possibilities. I just wanted to know what type of drive you own to rip your movies? Because I know I have on drive that is able to read DVD's better than my other one because I have found errors like this before when I put a DVD in my "worse" of the two drives and then when I stick the DVD in my good drive it reads no problem. It might not be the problem but just trying to take all angles here.
