im looking for a game on sega genesis called columns. i heard there is a file that carrys all the sega genesis games that was ever made on on file. is that true and if so where can i find that game colums for the psp?

Holy crap, afterdawn has sure changed since back in the day. I remember when posting a link to a torrent or rom site would be an instant ban and deleted thread. On a different note, when I can't find a game in a rom pack, I break down and scour IRC channels.

Is that a quote from the forum rules? I can't beleive it. Maybe AD got new owners, or they don't care anymore. I got banned once for sending a pm with a link to a place with backups. Crazy.

Ya thats staright from the forum rules...aD is pretty cool with that stuff, but a lot off ppl STILL ask for direct links and if you can directly send them stuff....I dont get it;)

Back in the day, AD was strict as hell about it. No slap on the wrist, go strait to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200. I'll see if I can find where I was banned and post it..

Couldn't find my original ban post, but I did find this. The names have been changed (xxx) to protect the innocent...
Posted by a mod after someone asked about buying backups (this is back when DVD burners cost a ton)
"This website does not 'belong' to the users and the responsibilty for accusations of endorsing piracy fall squarely on the shoulders of those who own the name, the servers and the connection.
They will not allow that to be spoiled by anonymous selfish users (which do not represent the majority of the userbase here) bucking the system. Whilst the PM system is private, it is still held on these servers and an obvious invitation to piracy, like the one XXX did after a request also falls outside the rules of Afterdawn.
Fortunately for him, currently it does take a bit of effort to go through these messages and in fact I can only recall it ever having been done a couple of times before when some serious bad behaviour was uncovered. In this instance I have not taken it further and XXX will not get a ban or his messages checked.
However, this is a warning to anyone thinking of advertising the Private Message service as away of getting around our rules and then pointing it out on open forum.
XXX has been given the benefit of the doubt and this is just a warning. XXX2 asked for pirated material on our forum and is banned.

LOL yea it was pretty rough back then. I wasn't sure if anyone actually beleived me. Has to find something to prove to myself I wasn't going nuts. It seems AD has gotten nothing but more popular, so I'm sure it got to be too much work to keep up with it.

Ohh yea, AD is definately awesome (allways has been). Still my fav place to gather info on anything from news to faqs regarding the backup of pretty much everything. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't still be hitting it up after 4 years ;)

Yup, I 1st started visitng when I got my ps2 and needing info about mod chips. I used a gameshark/gameswap method with my Ps1 and was wondering about what was gonna be done about the Ps2 and it's stupid slide out tray. Man, it feels like yesterday that I won the bid on ebay and got my ps2.....ahhh memories.

Yea, there's allways seemed to have been someone friendly enough to help out nooBs here. Good way to make people feel welcome and hang around to help out other newbs. I'm sure there were a few like that for me, but maybe I have toked too much as I can't remember anyone atm.
