So I used the method of changing it from CD format into DVD format. But inside the iso was like ALOT of folders so I knew I had a problem right away. I used DVD scan to scan the files inside the folder and it said that it didn't need to be scanned. Alright. So I went ahead and scanned the important files and yatta yatta yatta I burned the DVD formatted iso.
So I then used Swap Magic 3.6 to boot it up...then BOOM! Red Screen of Death.

You need to convert the CD Image Files to a Mode 2/2352.bin image using CDMage.
Open CD Mage and go to File>Open and select the extracted CD image. The "image type" box should pop up and say "M1/2048 track (*.iso)" by default. Press open and it will show the contents. Go to File>Save As and set the location and name of your new file and hit "Save". "Save options will then pop up. Convert the tracks to Mode2/2352 and leave the other options be and press ok. when it's done mount the .cue and burn.
Oh, and the red screen of death will appear for a second but then the game should boot up fine. Good luck.

Ok I just converted a cd to dvd tonight, I'll tell you how I did it.
I used Isobuster, dvdscan 3.7, a dummy file app, cddvd gen and genie's iml2iso.
I opened up isobuster and inserted my cd, Highlighted everything and extracted to an empty folder, scaned and patched with dvdscan 3.7 then created a 700mb dummy file (cddvd gen will reject it if you dont do this, youll get a "to short a location length" error) I then opened up cddvd gen, selected "dvd-rom master disc" and dragged my extracted files into it in the same order as they appeared in isobuster and then added the dummy file last, filled out the volume info as usual and hit record, clicked ok for both errors that poped up ("recording unit not conected" and "initilisation failed") and then went to file and chose export iml, cddvd gen recorded the files to a new folder I had made so I opened up genie's iml2iso and converted my new iml file to an iso and burned it with DVD Decrypter.
The game was monopoly party and it plays great!
Think I should write up a proper tutorial for this?

Well I have only one game that I couldnt convert, It had a SCES instesd of a SLES/SLUS and DVDscan wouldnt patch it. Plus apparently some games have other media checks that I dont understand, so untill someone makes a new revised tool for patching CD's to DVD, I guess theres not alot we can do but burn it to a CD.

What is the game? If you post the name here, someone might see it and may have successfuly put it on DVD.

I just played the demo a while back and it indeed is an original and interesting game.
Too bad my PS2 can no longer read CD games or else I'd be playing it right now along with Rez.

Well I just patched the SLUS and something else...there's a lot of folders inside the image such as character's texture files or something like that.

Hey somthing you could try is downloading a PAL version, I take it your one is NTSC scince you have a SLUS file. There's a small chance that the two will be compiled differently and if your lucky it might just work. Let me know.
