Why does Transcoder always make the audio lagg on the compressed version of the dvd files?

Is there a way to resync the audio or better yet make sure this never happens in the first place??

It is really quiet dissapointing to wait for 9 hours to compress a file and then come to find out that it is crap and was a waiste of time..

Thanx for any help that can be given..
