Hey everyone--
I am using DVD Shrink with Nero, made a backup of Nanny Mcphee, however the Director's commentary is on throughout the entire film, even though I removed it from the copy using dvd shrink(reauthor mode).
I have made many backups, and never had this problem before, any ideas? Perhaps a problem with Nanny McPhee?
I even tried to copy it 2 more times, the second try making sure the commentary box was unchecked, and the third time I left only the 2-channel audio on the disk, thinking there was some type of trouble with the 5.1 surround track..Both attempts left the same result, and I am getting frustrated. I already wasted 3 discs, what else should I try?
P.S.: when I tried the 2-channel-only copy in my computer using Nero Showtime as the dvd player, Commentary track didn't play..But when I used Windows media player or my home dvd player, it "came" through..what the heck?
I had similar problems with this one. When I sampled it on my computer the directors commentary audio track was the only thing you could hear. This is the crazy part, I put the same disc in any stand alone DVD player and the correct movie audio would play. Like you, I eliminated the Directors audio in Shrink only to find it was still there on playback. I would suggest you use DVD-RW's until you sort it out. I was able to correct the problem by running the back-up through Shrink again and eliminated the Directors commentary once again and it worked fine.
