First, I want to thank AfterDawns' staff for all of its' valuable information and time! Also, whoever ALKOHOL maybe, THANKS for your great guides! Now to get to the puzzle.
Since researching and finding ALKOHOLS' guide, burning has been trouble free. That is until today. I was trying to copy Monsters, Inc. for the little one to use and eventually scratch the hell out of but an error message shot up.
I used Fab first, then VOB blanker, then send it to Nero. Nero analyzied,then encoded. When it got to burn process, immediately internal error popped up. Then I tried puting file through Shrink 3.2 . The same process happened with same error. I tried another movie, Shrek 2, same error. I had no problems with double features of other dvd's. Also, just burned 8 below, no problems. Would really like a copy for the little one to use, any ideas on the error.

Hello evildizzy.
Did you burn 8 below after the problems with Monsters?
Can you post the NeroHistory log for the burn? The log is in one of these paths depending on your Nero version.
Program Files > Ahead > Nero > NeroHistory
Program Files > Nero > Nero7 > Core > NeroHistory
Post only the section dealing with the Monsters burn. Be sure to delete your program serial number before posting?

It was before 8 Below. Laddyboy, Thanks for looking into this and seeing if maybe there is an answer. Also is there a problem clearing that history file? I actually had to try and burn INC. again because it was not in the history file. It seems that only successful burns were stored.

It appears the whole thing blew up even before getting to the burn at the time of combining the video files into a DVD compilation.
One thing I did notice is that your target output size is too large. Instead of selecting DVD5 as the target output size, select "Custom" and enter the size as 4300 or 4350. This is true for DVD Shrink as well. In DVD Shrink, it's under Edit > Preferences.
When you used DVD Shrink, was it set to burn with Nero directly from DVD Shrink?
When you did the Nero update, did you run the Nero Clean Tool first or did you update directly over the older version of Nero?
Let's try the following first.
Change the target output size in Recode as I noted above. You can use DVD Shrink instead if you want.
Instead of selecting a burn to a DVD, have Recode/Shrink output an ISO image file.
If that's successful, burn that ISO file with DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn.
The above may allow for zeroing in on where the problem lies.
If Recode/Shrink blows up again. Uninstall Nero with the Nero General Clean Tool and then do a fresh reinstall. Be sure to write down the Nero serial number first however.
