Is there any freeware similar to AnyDVD?

are there any freeware like AnyDVD other than DVD43? If so, how well do they work, and do you suggest them?

I do not believe their is any freeware like AnyDVD. But if you combind the following freeware programs: DVD Fab Decrypter, VOB BLanker, and DVD Shrink
You can successfully back-up any DVD currently out there.

It's not freeware, but DVDIdle Pro does almost the exact same thing that AnyDVD does. Try it for free here: http://dvdidle.com/dvd-idle-pro.htm
It looks promising. But I promise that AnyDVD will do the job twice as fast and twice the anti-copy-protection service that DVDIdle does!

DVDFab Decrypter (FREE) has new encryptions beat before movie comes out. you usually have to wait a week after release for updates from AnyDVD or DVD43.

The only diffrence in use is, you have to run DVDfab Express on movie, (an added step) and save to hard drive.

Also you must shut down, DVD43 or AnyDVD, while running DVDFab Express, conflicts with these programs.

I have never had a movie that I couldn't break before release with DVDFab!!! I can-not say that for AnyDVD or DVD43.
