Could be copy protection, what movie are you doing? Or just a bad/scratched or smudged disk, try cleaning it or take it back for another one.

Disney of course, did you rip this one first with DVDFab Decrypter because Shrink on it's own cannot do it, nor can DVD Decrypter because of the lack of updates. This movie has ripguard on it.

yep!
sometimes shrink throws up the crc message if it meets a code that's new

hey guys i'm new to this too. i got the same error for the movie annapolis using shrink and DVD Decrypter. i then dl'd the trial of AnyDVD and no problems. what program do you guys suggest in using with shrink and DVD Decrypter??? before purchasing AnyDVD. thanks a bunch.

I would suggest the free DVDFab Decrypter it will do all the new protections. Just rip to your HDD and then proceed with Shrink. New version just came out today.

Also there is a new program out called RipIt4Me, that will integrate with DVD Decrypter and is supposed to work, it is also free. I have not tried this one but you can read about it here and try out the program.
