Newbie desperately needing Nero help!

Ok so I've beed burning music, videos, cd/dvd images, etc for a long time and all of a sudden Nero is having none of it. I had burnt 3 cd's in a row then on the fourth it came up with a write error. So I assumed the image was to blame so I tried one I'd already done and that came up with an error, they all did. Burning music with Media Player and the Nero plug-in didn't work either, however Media Playe alone will still burn music.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Nero, deleted registry entries, tried other versions, etc, all to no avail.
I have seen from other posts that the log maybe useful so here it is, I hope you can help please. Oh I I just installed the ASPI 4.71 thingy, didn't make a difference.

Ok I have just updated to latest nForce IDE drivers, and tried uninstalling drive. Still exactly the same.
How can it just happen between burning one disc and the next, I did absolutely nothing but remove burnt disc, place in blank, and then it went wrong. And media player still burns to disc. Ahhhhh!!!
Any other idea please??? Thanks

Wel it says it is on when I check in device manager and I never turned it off. Also just installed Roxio Media Creator 8, works perfectly, though I prefer Nero.

I only had Nero, I installed Roxio when Nero stopped working and had tried what you guys suggested.

yeah, used that, tried fresh install of Nero to no avail. Roxio works perfectly, Nero still complains. I guess I can live with it but its really bugging me. What on Earth could have happened for my pc just to go right thats it, no more Nero for the fun of it.

Nero and roxio have issues when both pieces of software are on your pc at the same time.The conflicts that result can be coasters to your other software not working.

ok but i didnt have Roxio on my pc at all. i have only now installed after not being able to get Nero to work so i can still burn cd's.
