ok, stupid question. Been googling around and haven't found a verifiable answer. Is the term PDTV just the european version of HDTV or is it something different. I guess my real question is what is the quality difference between PDTV vs HDTV. I was surprised to see that afterdawn doesn't have PDTV in the glossary yet.

hello,
pdtv stands for Pure Digital TV and is not HDTV, it is not as good quality as HDTV.
