Yes you can as long as you have room for both DVD's. You may have to illuminate menus and just place the movies back to back. This may be useful if you have a 2 disk set.

What program are you using to shrink the files?

Lets say it's DVD Shrink. Re-author the first disk and allow Shrink to make the folder for it. Then do the same to the second disk.

Now on the file where the original was saved open it and delete the AUDIO_TS folder. Now in a seperate window open the second disk you copied. Drag and drop the VIDEO_TS folder to the location of the first disk.

Now within that folder you have 2 VIDEO_TS folders. Tell Nero or whatever your burner is to burn the title of the first disk.

Well, I hope that made sense. Example: G:\Casanova\VIDEO_TS (inside VIDEO_TS ther is another VIDEO_TS) Confusing but it should work.

Burn it to your HD first to make sure it worked before you burn it to a disk. Good luck!

Just remember if you place two large movies on one DVD5GB disc then the quality of both will be badly compromised. With the cheap 5GB discs it's wise to put just one movie on each. If you're doing two short movies (less info) then the quality won't be so bad.

Ok first open Shrink or Recode then shrink or recode the movie only. Remember if you have menues it will not work. Say you name the folder movie_test. After you have done the first movie then do the same movie to the same folder.

I used shrink to do it. With in the same folder the first movie was there already (done previously) and I add the second movie to it then run shrink again.

Because shrink is not set up for DVD-9 it gave me a message. I pressed proceed anyway, and both movies ended up under the same Video_TS folder. Then burn the image.

I hope that made a little more since than the first way I put it. Good luck! Let me know if you have a problem.

Why would you want to do that? The quality won't be good, especially if you owned any 50" or higher HDTV. However, the choice is yours.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

Ok let?s see if a picture really can say 1000 words!! I have two movies on my hard drive that (If I desired) will fit on one DVD-9 or a DVD-5 with poor visual aspect ratio!

First after I open Shrink I tell it to open a file and choose the movie to be the 1st movie on the DVD. I select Re-author and choose drag the main movie file to the left panel. Then at the top right of the screen I have the ability to open another movie file. I choose the second movie that I desire then drag the main movie file to the left panel. The picture bellow will show you what my screen looks like.

Please note that the first movie is called Title 1 and the second movie is called Title 1(2). The next thing I do is select the backup button. You may name the file whatever you desire. Make sure that under the Quality Setting tab that both are checked as below.

This will make Shrink do a deep analysis of the movie to help bring out a sharper image. Now you should be ready to go.

I hope this helps! Good luck...

@ jd14305

Let me know it works well. I will probably never use it, but others may want to refer to this location in the future.

Thanks!
