I'm kinda sick of buying games and movies and ive been looking into this back up and ripping buisnuss. I have a solder-mod chip in my ps2 and I have been burning some ps2 games (bin/cue files). Now that games have gotten bigger and more complicated i guess I ve been downloading DVD rips which I have no idea how to use. They come in TAR files and I was wondering if they can be burned to CD-R's and if they would work on a solder-modded ps2. I also am not too familiar with unraring these string of files (like the .001 file to .054). I need a little expert help.

Also DVD back ups dont work on my modded ps2. Is there any way to get them to work?
