Hey all!

I followed the directions from http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/dvd_to_vcd_with_subs.cfm EXACTLY. (admittedly the version of DVD2SVCD that I'm using is newer, so there were 1 or 2 tiny discrepancies...oh and... basically what I've done is use SmartRipper to rip my DVD, specifying Japanese lang. with english subtitles. Then when I get to DVD2SVCD I dont rip from the DVD, I just use the allready ripped file on my HDD.).

I've checked the message boards, and there doesnt seem to be anything similar to the problem I'm encountering (ok, not entirely true, but the post was lacking in specifics, so the question never got answered).

DVD2SVCD gets most of the way through the conversion/encoding process, then borks in RunbbMPEG when multiplexing and cutting (apparantly?). It appears to try to open bbMPEG_Muxed_File.mpg, but that file is 0Kb, which is (I am guessing here) why it dies.

Here's some of my log file:

At this point I get a popup dialog box saying:
"bbMPEG - error: Error reading from an input file".

And that's it. If I click OK to that dialog, I can see the bbMPEG window which says it is multiplexing the specific file (mentioned above).

If I click OK in bbMPEG (as it's the only button available), I get this error code in DVD2SVCD:

"bbMPEG failed. Exitcode: 3221225477".

Sooooo....any suggestions? <g>

Thanks for all your hard work guys! This is probably one of the coolest projects I've seen in a long time!
