Hi evrone.

I have downloaded my first movie and I know nothing, so...please help!

The movie is .avi and there was another file in .sub format which I guess it's the subtitles. So, how can I use the .sub file when I watch the movie?

The last of the mohicans.avi
The last of the mohicans.sub

the file for sub titles meens that the movie will have sub titles on the bottom of the screen, read the nfo file in the folder to find out what language it is, and if it is not one that you will understand don't burn it, or at least i wouldn't

Hello kallirroi.

I recently learned how to burn an .avi (with subtitles) to a dvd myself.

I found VSO's "convertxtodvd" to be a very helpful program

It's very simple to use, especially after reading this guide...
http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vso_convertxtodvd_guide.cfm

You can download the trial version of "convertxtodvd" here....
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/v...

However, as it is the trial version, it puts an annoying watermark on your screen when you watch the dvd.

Try the program and if you have success with it, buy the program to get rid of the watermark. I did and it was money well spent.

Good luck to you!
