I have a PS2, Modchip DMS4 Pro SE, I am using Toxic OS and I do have a hard drive installed.

How do I load a game to the hard drive?

In the Toxis OS Settings under System Info the HDD Information is gray where you can not select it. Does this mean that my HD is not recognized or what?

Please help me get I game on my HD.

Thanks

I've never seen that before, I'd suggest checking out the dms4 forums and chances are they can figure it out fast.

usually you know the HDD is not recognized by 2 things.
1. the area is greyed out
2. there is no games tab when you go into ToxicOS
do you have a games tab? If so try this.
go to ToxicOS games tab
go down so your in the blank area below the tabs
go right over to the other menu and highlight install
stick in a disc and press X
then it should say put in a disc and choose ok or something and you do that
then it will have a keyboard appear and the name of the game is written in the window for some, if not you just eneter the name and go to the enter on the keyboard on the screen and press X
then it should start the install.

Just so i make sure you don't make the same mistake i did, does your HDD have an on switch? My HD Combo case has a on switch for just the hard drive. I hooked everything up and wondered why it would not work, because i didn't see that and didn't turn it on, DUH!
once i did it worked fine.
This may not be the case with a fat PS2
also did you format the hard drive with ToxicOS? you need to do that first.

I figured out what the problem was and I am wondering if I now have another problem.

The problem was that the hard drive had come disconnected from the broadband connecter. The HD was loose as in when I took the broadband connecter off the HD would slide right out. The HD did not have anything holding it in place like you would a computer.

Is it supposed too?

I hooked it back up and it works fine, but I am afraid that it will eventually work loose again.

Thanks

It is supposed to, the only thing it attaches to is the network adaptor.
