I'm looking for a good, easy to use, FREE if POSSIBLE screen capture program to take screen shots with? I downloaded the trial version of HyperSnap 6..and although I stayed at a Holiday Inn last nite, I'm not a rocket scientist! It's hard enought learning how to use all these video editing, authoring software...I really don't want a steep "learning curve" on just some program to take snap shots of how/where what to do trying to help others with their problems.

Bingo! Yeah..I've dumped the HyperSnap it was too complicated. Downloaded snagit program yesterday. Currently helping a lady friend create her first Movie Maker Musical slideshow with it over at her site. Works geat so far..expecally since i found the time delay button...really hard for curser to be in two places at once! ha..ha.. heres a shot!

viewers can zoom in and enlarge right? at first i wasn't happy with the default size. How do you change that? How long have you used this? Will it do motion capture? and save as .avi? or just static screen shots? Well, it seems to be way too big over here...must be in the website image size settings...it was tiny over at her site..

I agee with SnagIt... it's the best. but please try to keep the viewing file down to no larger than 800x640 so we don't have to keep using the bar at the bottom of the screen to read or view your pixs! thanks! it does help!

Does your keyboard have a "Print Screen/SysRq" key, to the right of your F12 key? If so, you can press the "Alt" key and the "Print Screen" key, and take a screen shot of the active window.
