I have been having a problem burning Dual layer dvds. I have been using shrink with Nero to burn, burns without a problem when I play the DVD-9 it freezes in spots & sometimes completely and does not play properly. Any suggestions on what the problem may be or how to fix it.

Welcome to the forum. Shrink or Nero are not the best way to burn a D/L DVD. Use DVDDecrypter in iso mode: Mode>iso>read ( it will copy the image file to HD). After read use Mode>iso>write to burn to DVD. Nero and Shrink have numerous problems w/ the layer break and the ifo/bup structure. I know of only 3 programs that do a D/L DVD properly and they are: CloneCD, DVDDecrypter, PgcEdit.
Your problem could be blank media that you are using . I suggest that if you are not using it to use Verbatim (+) DVD's and to burn at 2.4 speed
just thought i add some info, when i have burned DL disc with DVD Decrypter they haven't came out to good, i would suggest that u maybe download IMGburn and burn the ISO file with that because IMGburn seems to work better with the DL discs.
just my experience with DL discs, and it hurts to waste those DL discs.
also what car.mike said about the media, VERB all the way.
