My father owns a buisness, and I need to create a small Banner for it, on normal sized paper, to stick on the entrance, with some nice text effects like:
-Shadows
-3D
-Textures (from image files)
-Deforming
-anything else that will look classy, but decent ;-)
I have a 1300 page book on Photoshop, called the Photoshop Bible, but it says nothing on HOW to create those effects. I really need to get this done. Unfortunately, I am a total newbie to Photoshop. Can anybody help me by:
-Refering me to any site that gives simple instructions on how to do all this OR
-Posting the method here, if no such site is there.
Please donot limit this ONLY to Photoshop, if there is any other easier program, please let me know.
Thanx in advance.

Deforming means to change the way the text is placed.
Like you can place it straight, slanting, curved, etc.

You can download FontTwister from http://www.neuber.com if you really want to know what deforming is. I used FontTwister, but the reasults look -really- cheap, that is why I want to do this in Photoshop.

If you didn't understand what deforming is, and you don't want to download the prog, just forget it. It is not -that- important.

I think you din't get me. By saying 'It's not -that- important, I meant that the DEFORMING part was not that important. It would be nice if you could guide me on the how-to's of the other things.
