It says on http://www.qj.net/2-5-2-6-Downgrader-FINAL-Released-/pg/49/aid/57717 that the success rate (in their forums) is 93%...thats pretty risky...if I wait more will it be less risky?
And can someone send me the 2.5/2.6 downgrader plz?? For my email PM me..

Just out of curiosity how come it's 93% success rate...shouldn't it be 100%?? Why is there a 7% failure risk?? Is it because ppl make mistakes?? Or is it the downgrader's fault?
If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

Can somebody explain this...
I downgraded my 2.6 and copied my PSP 1.5 root into it and for some reason the downgraded 2.6 root seems to never boot game w/devhook?? But my 2.0 - 1.5 is fine!?!?!

ehhh, they say when u downgrade yr psp to 1.5, actually upgrade to 2.0 then downgrade bak to 1.5, but i dont no if it helps; maybe that is why devhook dont work :-\

The reason why some people bricked is they must have shut off the PSP or something which interrupted the flashing process. Trust me, its pretty safe!

there are tutorials out there, i would make one, but i downgrade my 2.0 psp bak in november so i dont wanna make anything unclear.....but get a buddy that knows wut there doing and get 'em to help u

This might sound noobish but I wouldn't ask this if there was no chance of my psp being bricked but there is so I have to "annoy" you ppl with this question:
How do I downgrade? Can sum1 tell me step by step?
Is it like I download the downdater then I load it with GTA LCS and then what?
If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

Put the DOWNDATERTEST FOLDER which contains the EBOOT into your GAME folder of your MS.
Place the DOWNDATER folder in the ROOT of your MS.
Load up GTA as normal and select the DOWNDATERTEST.
Once you select this there is no going back, make sure you have at least 70% battery or just plug in the AC.

Questions:
1.When you say to put the DOWNDATERTEST FOLDER which contains the EBOOT in my game folder, u mean the 2.50 downdater folder, right?
2. When you say place the downdater folder in the root of your memory stick, my question is JUST the folder?

It says something about waiting for sum1 with a 1.5 to do sumting...is that tru? Cuz I dont no any1 with a 1.5 but my enemy...lol (but he isnt in the homebrewing area)

DONT EVEN ATTEMPT THE DOWNGRADE UNTILL YOU HAVE THE 1.5 DUMP
you'll need to get that off of someone who will send you it - as its illegal to distribute

1. if you have 2.5, open the 2.5 downdater folder, inside of which you will find DOWNDATERTEST folder - copy this to the GAME folder on your psp
2. DOWNDATER folder goes straight into root - the DOWNDATER folder has two more folder and two files inside it (cant tell you names without checking) these need to be there also

I was scared/excited/terrified/worried/amazed (wtv type of word emphasizes the OMG feeling) when I wrote the following messages on requiring information on how to downgrade...but I did it on my own...thx anyway ppl like ravenlife for example...I will make my own guide now (dont care if its stickied...just want to help the psp/afterdawn comunity)

Mate if your Devhook wont work you will have to leave your PSP switched off for a good 20 minutes then you will be fine to play. :D
