hopefully what i type makes sense. i am using dvdshrink w/ AnyDVD to backup blade 2. however the main movie file for blade 2 minus the closing credits and all audio (except AC3 5.1) is still huge. the compression is at 80%.
is there another way of ripping dvd's that have one main movie file that is this big (without going the dual layer route)?
this really irks me because most movies are seperated into several different title files. i broke down with lord of war and made it 2 discs by cutting at the same frame, hopefully there is a better way to do this in the future.
any and all help is greatly appreciated. thanks!!!
With AnyDVD running in the background, do the following:
1. Go to Re-Author.
2. Select Main Title.
3. Click Analysis.
4. If, after analysis, the Main Title is still too big, then click backup.
5. After backup is complete, select "Full Disc" and click Analysis again.
6. If, after analysis is still too big, start over from step 4.
7. Now, burn to disc.
Hope this helps!
If your compression is reading 80% that means the movie is only being compressed 20%, which is about normal. If you want no compression then use a Dual Layer disk, or split.
