hello

can anybody help me in installin Tool C in the v14..I have een tryin for 2 days but cannot get it in. I dont want to void the warranty by opening it..

tht foot jst wont go into that hole on the tab. I would really appreciate if someone can help me.

If you have v14, u need tool d.
Sony made the upgrade so people cant use use tool c.
Simple as that.

however..cud not play my first backup...

i tried playin nfs most wanted..but it dint work..!

Well if you got it in I suggest putting a regular game in to see if you did any damege. Plus if you got it in, it probably isn't corectly since it wasn't made to be there.
One more thing, you are using swap magic, right?

I have the same problem with tool C as my is 75xxxx, there is a metal plate that cover the loction where tool C is suppose to go!!! Try tool E but it didn't work, anyone know how to do it??? Pls. help. Thanks

hey i finally managed to put it in..

take a knife..and make some room on the left of the metal tab...once tht is done...put tool C in from that side.on the left of tht tab..and make the foot rest in the hole..so tht the flat part touches the contact below...

try this..it should work.

Alright, just telling you that metal piece isnt there in the v12. IT WAS PUT THERE IN V13-V14 TO BLOCK TOOL C. USE TOOL D, IT WAS MADE FOR THAT PURPOSE. Well, jst don't break your ps2.
