Put your money on the counter and buy an original DVD title instead of downloading a pirated version.

Did you use NeroVision to convert the clip to DVD Compliant file?

If it's considered a DVD that should play in DVD players, but it can't play in yours do the following:
Download DVD Decrypter (if you haven't already), Rip in ISO mode, and burn in ISO mode. This won't work for all DVD RWs.
If that is not possible or that doesn't work, keep the clip and download ConvertXtoDVD from here: http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/
Have fun!

Before doing anything else, does it have .VOB, .IFO, and .BUP files? If so, it appears to be a DVD already. All you need to do is burn in Nero but using the DVD-VIDEO template when Nero starts, not DVD-rom. Just drag the IFO, BUP, VOB files (or the whole VIDEO_TS folder, if there is one) into the red VIDEO_TS folder on Nero and click Burn. Don't fiddle with the AUDIO_TS folder.

-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

hi brighton,

first off what kind of file did u download?
if it is a WMV,MPEG,AVI, then use Nero vision and select MAKE DVD like arniebear said. as for other formats like ASF i have had no luck using Nero vision and even some mpeg files have had no luck. there are better converters out there.
repost for any ques.

Most video files from limewire are either AVI or mpeg and Nero vision will convert it to dvd format. Shrink and decrypter will not help you here.
