Why does Kazaa use sooooooo much ram?
I'm using Kazaalite k++. I have 512MB ram.(pc2100)
10 minutes into Kazaa running and the task manager show that I'm down to 10MB's of free ram, but the task manager shows Kazaa is only using between 6 & 8 MB's ram. (doesnt add up)
The computer starts to run like a 100 year old lady who smoked for 95 years...

Help please.

Kazaa has a weird effect on a computer lol! It used to crash mine the whole time!

Yeah, it's crashed mine more than a few times;-( Do you know of any patch's created to correct the problem?

Dela, Thanks. What P2P do you recommend? I just can't resolve this memory issue. I even install another 256MB ram, I'm up to 768MB's..

DC++ or eMule (emule will use a lot of resources if you share too many files because it will have to hash them all up!)

there are alot of others but i recommend using one called soulseeker
its a really small program u wont believe it
www.slsk.org go to download and get it
its a brilliant program as fast and reliable as kazaa too
alternatively u can get DIET KAZAA this is a hacked kazaa stopping popups and things this may resolve the problem
