is there away to save a jpeg image & a video file to a disc?
I want to place 2 movie son one disc but have the movie cover image before each movie

If your doing the movies in reauthor mode you can just use a small clip of video. put it before the actual movie then select compression settings and change the settings to still image and browse your drive for the pic you want! And when its its done burning. It will display that picture instead of the original video!
But make sure you adjust the length of the video cuz if you use a long video the pic will be shown for the lenght of the original video! I usually shorten my clips down to about 6 or 8 seconds.

Are you placing two long commercial DVD movies on one 4.7Gb DVD? If so, the quality of both movies will be compromized and not good.

What's the compression percentage for each movie? If each movie only could fit one disc @100%, you can't do much better than 50% for each on the same disc. And most movies have to be compressed to fit a single DVD. But if you like the product then that's your preference, then by all means continue.
