So you are trying to update evox dash. Do you know FTP? if so tell me where is your evox at.

Hmm. back to step 1 because i have been doing this all wrong from the get go! I now have evolutionx m8plus bios working on my xbox. Now I need to score a cross over cable so i can connect my xbox to my p.c. Is there a better place to get the a.i.d 3 other than a torrent sight cause i'm looking at 1 and a 1/2 days until it's finnished!!

no, you have to get it from bit torrent. Unless you have some connections at xboxhq.com then you can download directly.

Alrighty, big day for me. I have sucessfully figured out how to FTP to my xbox and evox is working. Thanks for the place to get a.i.d.
D/l ing big files on bit torrent sux. Will that be the only program that I will need?

downloading big files on BT sux???its great if you have a good connection what program are you using i would suggest ABC or Something new dont use the Actual Bit Torrent Program...

yeah, I use bit torrent. What program should I be using to get max speed? I don't think i have ever gone above 20 kb/s. using bit torrent!!

I dont think he is understanding what we are aking him, but try using ABC (another bittorrent client), or one of my perosnal favorites utorrent. and one of the popular ones is Azureus but it takes up some system resources.

yea i use ABC, a lot of people use utorrent, Azureus is good aswell but i kind of lagged my comp dunno why probably because it runs on java...go to download.com you can get them there...i have reached speeds on 900 kb on ABC....

Alright, I have a.i.d 3.0 on disk and it has booted up on my xbox. Now it's time for me to install my new 300 gig hard drive but I'm not really sure how to do it with that program. I read the docs and it's not very descriptive for me to understand. Could someone please tell me the steps because I don't want to mess up..
ty again for torrent advice. I get faster speeds since I quit using bittorrent!!!

So power off----take xbox apart and put new hard drive in---power on---then run disk? Prob. sounds like a stupid question but asking questions and extensive reading has gotten me to this point!!
