i know this has probably been mentioned before but when i put a game in the ps2 it doesnt load and a constant scratchin noise can be heard? i hav fliptop too, is my ps2 finially dying =[ like all mi other crappy consoles? is this anything to do with the laser magnets?

any ideas would be of great help thanx

are you sure your screws aren't too tight on the bottom? that's what the 'scratchin noise' could be from, otherwise maybe your laser is just out of alignment or alittle dry on the sliders....

i duno wats with it, but il make the screws looser if i tightened it durin fliptop process.

neway i think ive figured the situation and messed with the ps2 configuration laser and it seems to be working fine .... and wil continue to do so until i hear that awful noise again?
