I have the Beta2 download but I need a freeware program to change the size of a 8gig partition to a 16gig partition without formating my HDD. I would like to have the option of having the dual OS because I have heard the vista is having problems with some programs that I have installed on my computer.

Hp a1250n
XP(MCE)
AMD Athlon64 3800+ X2 939
Mobo: MSI Amethyst-M
ATI X800GTO (THX to Sammorris)
2GB Ram (need more)
250 Gig SATA HDD WD
320 Gig SATA HDD SG
HP DVD (it has it all)
HP-DVD Reader

i would say "Dont Use It As A Main OS" its best to have it as a Duel Boot.
I have Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 on one HDD (80GB)
And I have Windows Vista on my other HDD (120GB)

Vista is working good for me. I cannot get a couple programs to install correctly. Mainly Nero7 will not work with Vista. The other thing is my printer software will not work with it.

Other then that I love vista. The user interface works nice with how I use a computer. It just takes a lil to get used to. The only thing that would keep me from buying it would be the price.

Although I am worried about the extra copyright protection that is rumored to be put in. If that is used ill never use Vista then.

AnyDVD and DVDshrink wirk with vista 32bit!!!

At Razzy28,

That is what I would end up having myself. I still haven't found any freeware that will do what I need done without formatting my HDD.

I sampled the beta a few weeks ago.
Visually its a nice change.
However to me it seems like the same old 32 bit shell,
Just 'eye candied' up to look like mac OS X.
(I cant stand Apple dont get me wrong.)
The last apple I ever used was an Apple II-E.
But those were my impessions.
It did not work well with most of my programs,
So XP SP2 went back on real quick.
