Hi all,
I was browsing this forum and I thought I could find some help regarding my question, but a search w/ keywords "Clock + devhook" gave in too many results...
anyways, I noticed that everytime I run devhook 0.41 and upgrade to 2.5fw the clock is somewhat like 2hrs back from proper time - is this normal? I haven't tried to arranged the clock again on 2.5fw...was not sure if it could create probs or not (i'm not that psp-literate)
anyone noticed?
cheers

no. I've never noticed that. Good eye. I don't really care what time it is when I'm playing games tho.
But since it is 2.50 emulation, it's just like the real thing, so you can feel free to go ahead and change the time to the real time.
In 2.50 emu, I have set wallpaper, tried setting up a Net connection, etc. You can do anything you want. If it crashes, (which it won't) big deal. Just fire it up again.
Your PSP will never die from doing hard resets or crashing it all the time. In my hacking experience, I have NEVER plugged my PSP while messing w/ the flash and you're SUPPOSED to.
I have crashed it HUNDREDS of times and done hard resets even more than that. Especially having been an old EBOOT loader user.
The PSP is a tank. You don't need to worry about much. Just don't be like me. Plug your PSP in if you're going to screw w/ the flash. I didn't know you were supposed to and I've been messing w/ the flash for a year now w/o it plugged in. I guess the reason I've never bricked it b/c I always have a full battery.
have fun and happy hacking! :)

woa
gee...
(just to confirm) but i dont presume emulating 2.5 messes w/ flash does it? I think the readme file said so
as for the crashes...hmm it happens very often with mine :(
especially when I put it to sleep mode (in PSP menu) and I try to re-load the game (currently DBZ)
sometimes it works, sometimes it does not

it doesnt write to your flash on your psp, just emulates the 2.5 fw temporarily. :)

if you're having troubles, d/l the newest version (v0.42) as it provides more stability.
