PC TO PS2 network connection problem

Hi GUys

I have a ps2 with network adapter and maxtor harddrive, i am using HDAdvance 3 on my ps2 and HDL_Dumb for transferring game files. I have used it before using the instructions supplied with the hd advance and it has always been successful. I have not used it for some months now but every time i try to connect to my ps2 using my cable i get the message-

no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

Any ideas what the prob is?

What kind of cable are you using? Also you need to make sure the IP is set properly
