This is a call to all dons in the world of DVD ripping.
Subject- Trying to add forced subtitles in the DVD to VCD. After going over the forum thoroughly I still need some advise, maybe I overlooked.
Problem - While using Sefy Lvy guide to to backup dvd with subtitles using Virtualdub, I got stuck at the step when it asks "Load External Filter" and open the file "vobsub_vd.vdf". I simply can't load this filter. I tried to copy "vobsub.dll" file from system folder to virtualDub/Plugins directory. Still gives me an error.
I'm sure there are lot of brains out there who have done this before, just need a little advise. Appreciated!

Re-install VobSub, and during installation, choose the "custom" install and expand the "plugins" menu and click on "VobSub for "VirtualDub". The installer will ask you where your VirtualDub is located, and viola, the vobsub_vd.vdf file will be placed in the "plugins" folder in your VirtualDub directory.
