My total purpose here is to try to get a browser for the ps2, so what I did was I got a copy of the PAL Network Access Disk as it says I need in this site http://www.brookfresh.co.uk/ and I converted it to NTSC using a NTSC to PAL converter (which was ps2_pal2ntsc_yfix). Then I sent it to HDL using hdldumb so when I try to load it up it gets to this black screen, but the odd part here is... even when i sent it over as PAL to HDL it still stalled at that same black screen. well it seemed to... so if anyone knows of how to get a browser for the ps2 or if i've done anything wrong just pointing me in the right direction would be great.

The problem isn't the PAL disk it's that you need a PAL ps2 system along with the network adapter

the network adapter is how i use hdl. so you're saying i cant run the PAL nad disk on an NTSC system, even after converting it? what about swap magic?
