Security Programs Not Loading At Start-Up....

Since last few days i am experiencing a strange problem at start-up of my winxp....
No matter what anti-virus or firewall i install none of the load at start-up after the first re-boot of pc after installation...
I have tried to restore my pc to an earlier date but to no avail...
All other programs like Adobe Reader's Speed Launch,My download manager etc...
the only program which went right was Kaspersky IS 6.0,but it also started giving problems after 4-5 reboots!!!
Please help!!

Go there and use the online scanner just to check youve not got some nasties on your machine.
