Okay you so called Experts, you sorry excuses for life.
I hate this board, it's rubbish....

:) Only kidding, but I've been searching through the site to try and find an answer to this problem and it seems if you insult the site Everyone replies. :)

So.. Now the niceities are out of the way, I humbly beseach for the messegeboard of wisdom of whom there are so many emminent and honourable members, for them to bestow wisdom upon this humble serf.

So.. To the problem.
I'm trying to copy the .Dat files from a VCD to my hard drive, and when I do so it comes up with the Error message.
"Invalid DOS Function" It happens on almost all the VCD's i have. :( I got them all from the same person. :(

I also can't play most in Windows Media Player. :( Although soem do work.

I have found that VLC does work sometimes, but it crashes with alarming frequency.

Sometimes I also get "Cyclic Redundancy Check" Error, which stops me copying as well.
Although I can view that file in VLC.

I tried the TMPEnc software, but it has crashed trying to open the .dat file. :(

I also can't copy the CD in Nero as it says it has a corrupt part, and stops. I have CDRwin as well, but I've not tried that yet.

Soooooo, Oh wise ones.
All suggestions welcome apart from ones that are similar to "AHAHAH Yer F**Ked Mate!".
