There are tons and tons of methods to rip dvds (even new released) now-a-days. Below are a few you can, yes.... even some of them are totally FREE.

* DVDFAB Decrypter (12 minutes to rip)
* VobBlanker (5 minutes to process the VIDEO_TS.IFO file for afterward "security" purpose and BLANK out any unwanted junks)
* DVD Shrink, Nero Recode 2 or DVD-RB Pro + CCE to do the job
* DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn (both FREE) or Nero to burn

* DVD Decrypter to rip (12 - 15 minutes to rip)

HAVE GOT DVD XCOPY AND DVD Shrink BUT NEITHER OF THESE PROGS WILL LET ME BACKUP SONY DISCS..HAVE GOT ALSO ANY DVD WORKING IN BACKROUND IT DETECTS THESE DISCS BUT WONT LET ME READ THEM............

What version of AnyDVD are you using? The latest version is 6.0.1.1, with a new beta out too. Your version may be too old. I have no trouble with Sony dvds, and I'm running the latest version of AnyDVD.
But, I've never tried to copy a colored disc. I've never even seen a colored disc.

Does it work with xcopy or should i download another program like DVD Shrink Thanks and Sorry Again................
The only version of X copy I knew anything about, split movies to two dvds. I didn't like that, so I never messed with it anymore.
AnyDVD works well with DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter, and other programs too.
