I have a moded slimline PS2 and I want to use Action Replay Max to play my backup games. When I try AR Max won't recognize my games. Does anyone know how to make this work?
Dan, all I could find in the searches was trying to use the codes on unmodified systems, and with swapdisc and DVD Loader. I don't have a modified case to use swapdisc or DVD Loader.

The 2 guides I read are superb. And looking thru the other posts were very informative too. But I still can't play my games with the codes. My backups work fine without the AR Max because of the mod chip. I'm just mad that I just bought an AR Max and it won't work. Why will the backups work without the AR Max but won't work with it? It's giving me an error saying "Can't read disc", but when restart the PS2 and I take the AR out and just put in the backup, it loads and plays perfectly fine. Oh, and the media I find works very well burned at 2-4X speeds are the Verbatim DVD-R with the advanced AZO. I used to use Memorex but they were too chopy and took too long to load.
Ok I don't know what's going on but I've done it all to the Cogswap Loader under Launcher.ELF and now I'm stuck I can load Cogswap but It doesn't load one CD it just sits there and scans! I've spent almost 8 hours trying to work this thing out. feels damn near I'mpossible. so can someone make a real step by step guide on how to use Cogswap?
