Fully Patched HDL?

This is in reference to another thread I made about ACE 2. On the list it says it should work with a fully patched HDL. All the other versions I tried just gave me a blank screen, but Im not sure if they were fully patched. I tried HDL 8a, 8b, HD Advance 2.0, and none of the games I added even boot up, even though the list say they should. So Im guessing I don't have the ride versions, I downloaded and burned all those HD Loaders I mentioned. Where can I get a fully patched HDL, I really want these games to work.

HDLoader 0.8b should be the latest patched version

Then I just dont get it...the games should be loading up. How long does it take a game to boot? Is it instant? Argh, I just wanna play this game :(. I checked the list of all the games I have and they all should work.

gundam seed alliance vs zaft. and according to that list that should be working as well, I started to think it was hdd, but if that was the case the unit wouldnt have even listed the games. And Im pretty sure the games themselves are in working order. :(

- What version is your PS2
- Have you tried running the games from disc
- How did you load the games onto your HDD

It's unlikely that both games have problems, but it COULD be problem with the image files... try either putting another game that you know works on the HDD or try the game on disc and see if that helps

I added a game I know works, Capcom Vs SNK 2...ran it in Mode 1 as I was told, and it STILL didnt load, the disc works. Hey I was doing some reading, and I think I read that certain hd loader versions dont work right, I saw someone reccomend lik version 7c or something, do you think that could be it?

I don't think the different versions makes a difference, I've gone from 0.7c to 0.8b and they all worked fine... have you checked your HDD's compatibility?
