i have pcsxbox installed on my xbox from when i got it modded but how do i play ps1 games on it. i dont know how to upload them to play them and it wont work when i use the cd some1 plz help thx

You need to rip the game on your PC using image making software such as Alcohol 120% or UltraISO or Nero.

And FTP into the "psxcds" folder in the PCSXBOX folder inside your xbox. use a crossover cable and some FTP software. Like WS_FTP or FlashFXP.

Hi Mike..
OK the best software to use is Alcohol 120%.. Rip the ps disk with it to create a .img file (ccd)
Settings.. read subchannel data, and playstation compatability mode.
Then just FTP the .img file (the 300-700 MB one) and discard the .ccd file. Some games won't work.. I started making a compatability list but lost interest after about 50..
Also you will need to find the scph-10001 bios file..You need to own a ps1 to legally use this file :), some games work better with the US bios..It's very often needed for NTSC games.

make sure you have the bios for pcsxbox or it won't work i think its schp1001.bin but im not sure i'll have to check

@ LnkinPrk6 Already made that point...and explained that NTSC games usually need the US version. Some games run in HLE mode without the bios.

Thanks Mike.. I was trying to follow that one but half of it is incorrect when used for the PAL versions. I started on my own but sort of lost interest after weeks of messing with it.. Found linux instead..lol Plus I have a ps1 anyway.
