Hi, can anyone tell my what to do when my DVD Shrink says :

PMA Update Failure , and does not go on in the burning process. It suceeded in encoding but doesn't go any further.

PMA Update failure is based on the media you are using. Also, it could mean that you need to upgrade the firmware of your drive... that's all I know.

Thanks Brink22, but I am trying to copy X-Files season 1 disc 1 and it fails. What I don't understand is that the other discs worked.....

Hi bobsky
What are you having Shrink burn with Nero or Decrypter?
If using Nero see if there is a log - look for the last one here w/ this failure:
For Nero 6:
program files>ahead>nero>nerohistory
For Nero 7:
program files>nero>nero 7>core>nerohistory.

I've seen this error usually associated with the burn piece.
