Hello

I am rather new,Just got a dvd burner.

I am following the guide here for dvd-9 to dvd-5 with dvd2one

I did exactly as it says except i chose to do FULL Disc

my steps were as follows

#1 Rip with dvd decrypter.file mode/select all ect.
#2 run it through dvd2one with full disc instead of movie only
#3 open Nero click dvd-video,put all the files in the VIDEO_TS folder and when i go to burn it it says there is no IFO or BUP present,But i can see them.

I did this to my apocalypse now redux dvd and it backed up fine with menu's and and all.

I am trying this now with my Dogma dvd and this is whats happening.

can anyone help?

I did some searching and didnt find a answer.

thanks alot everyone =]

Maybe try Smartripper to RIP all files

Open Smartripper and hit FILE then where you see the ALL button , select it.
Choose destination & rip

Do as you did the previous successful back up and you should be done.

Open nero, select dvd burning/click on new.
Next window that opens click on video_TS on the left column. Audio_TS and Video_TS will disappear in the column next to it. This is the column you drag and drop your encoded/compressed files to. Then click burn and write.

Are you sure you put the files into the Video_TS folder in Nero? I once accidentally dragged the files near the folder, and they ended up in the root directory of the DVD. It does not prevent you from doing this. Perhaps, just try it again.
