I'm surprised we haven't seen a plethora of posts concerning this movie--maybe it's because it's that bad lol.

It took me 25 mins to back this thing up. Once in a while i get a disc that takes this long, normally it rips at 12x

This movie may suck but it can't be as bad as most of the new releases in the last 3 months..

I'll second that. Many of the movies that have been released thus far have been less than spectacular--which is an understatement.

I used RipIt4Me in movie only rip, backed up like a dream. However, as bad as this movie is I can't figure out why Sony bothered with protection, such a stinker doesn't deserve it, just my opinion.

Just backed up this movie. Running through DVD-RB Pro right now. I haven't watched it yet. If it's as bad as people are saying, maybe I shouldn't go for quality. Maybe I should stop DVD-RB and just use DVD Shrink.

Compression for movie only in Shrink is at 86.5%, not enough for me to warrant RB on this one.

Again, as usual DVDFAB Decrypter & VobBlanker handle this easily. It is true it has the latest proctections from ARccOS, but it simply is just another piece of cake.

* DVDFAB Decrypter (12 minutes to rip)
* VobBlanker (5 minutes to process VIDEO_TS.IFO and blank out unwanted craps/junks)
* Nero Recode 2 (24 minutes to transcode)
* Nero Burning Rom (8 minutes to burn)

Came out flawless, perfect backup. Best of lucks to all.

@arniebear,
i think they put all that protection on because even though it is a crappy movie a lot of people are still going to buy or rent it.

BTW i noticed all the sony movies have a CRAP load of trailers
thank god for vobBlanker

Another reason to do movie only, I hate looking at the trailers all I ever really want is the movie. It is amazing how many bad movies are made and then the industry wonders why moviegoing is down.

I keep the trailers if they are of movies that I like. On Find me Guilty I kept the Boondock Saints trailer and on Kiss Kiss Bang Bang I kept the V for Vendetta trailer.

i tried using the wizard on PGCEdit since it's a Sony disk. it didn't work. so i came on here and saw that Bowler and Alkhol did it with Fab and VOBblanker. it worked like a charm. thanx guys.

@punkdog

If you have been using PGCEdit then try the new program RipIt4Me. It incorporates this program in it to import the PSL files then it will rip with Decrypter and FixVTS will clean your file. It will do all the new protection including this movie. Checkout the guide/examples and software
