Just buy ConvertXtoDVD and it'll convert just about any video file to DVD.

I tried ConvertXtoDVD v2.1.1 to convert a playable .rm video file but it failed. The message read "Unknown input stream

I also tried AVI-Pro and it seems to work, but the audio is out of sync.

You know, I really don't know why they aren't free. But I do know that ConvertXtoDVD is probably the best thing out there. It's not free, but hey, it converts nearly all the formats out there. I still get support from them so I'll ask if they can support the RealMedia format. One last question, did you use Starz Ticket on Real Movies. Because if you did, then you can't burn those to DVD. The best way to back those up would be to burn them data DVDs.

ADDED: Check this out: http://www.realconvert.com/rmtoavi/index.htm
